Art studio is almost finished. The drawing table is in there, except when we had opened it...the table top was scratched, one of the wheels was all filthy and icky, and it just seemed like they put all the shitty parts into one box. >_< So my dad called the company and we got the new table top and parts in last week. Now what I'm saving up for is a new desk to put in the corner for my digital works. After the desk I want one of these:

Sexy isn't it? After that I'm looking into getting Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and doing my concept stuff on there and get into digital painting which I've always wanted to do...and actualyl want to make that my profession...all it takes now is money. @_@; I might work some overtime at my job so I'll have one huge paycheck at the end of the month so I can buy that monitor. The program isn't that expensive.

Fall 2009 just started last week. I'm taking 4 studio classes so I'll be pretty busy. (Commercial Art II, Basic Figure Drawing, Basic Photography, and Principles of Interaction) By the end of this term I should actually have a portfolio website done. I was going to make it with Flash....right now we're still going over HTML. Ugh. It's so boring! Right now I have [link] (Right now it's just a fake site of a fake product for an assignment) I was thinking about buying the copyright for "Dirsew" and using it as a pen name...then I'll reserve [link]. ^_^ I think it may be pretty neat. What do you all think?
